I hope that this is just a small bug and that otherwise everything is healthy. Image proxying is not in place yet. I will have a closer look at the now possible setup changes soon™.

I think link previews / thumbnails are broken since the update. Only uploaded images are working.

Can confirm. When I switch to an alternate account on a different, not updated instance I can see previews and thumbnails just fine. Via this account, no.
