I’m finding that taking pictures of miniatures with an iPhone 12 is harder than it should be. Anyone got any tips?

Some top-down lighting and a backdrop that contrasts the mini will greatly help. Also, zoom out more, then crop back in.
On android, I have to drop my auto-brightness and contrast all the way down, but the lights make up for it.
