Exclusive: Avowed started as Obsidian's Skyrim, but evolved to focus on depth over breadth, 'where Obsidian really shines'

This is great news! Obsidian's other games such as the Pillars games, Outer Worlds, even Fallout New Vegas really shine due to Obsidian's world building and lore crafting. I'm glad that they aren't trying to copy Skyrim and just doing their own thing.
