It gets even more amusing in the way that .scr files are also just executable, and that is what Shkreli said he downloaded. (not that the distinction of executable matters in anyway, my point was more that you need to be very not your own security team to fall for a .scr porn torrent vs a game half of which go 'just turn off your virus scanner due to false positives' etc. (Not that .scr crypto stealing stuff doesn't exist of course, but iirc those tend to be a bit more targetted than just a porn file (not that I I know what those porn exploits have for payloads but the scr trick is older than lesswrong))
