That's a YOU problem, WestJet. Pay your mechanics what they deserve, and treat them like people.

Yes, that's how leverage works. I think they know that when they themselves are negotiating from a place of power.

Looks like it was sent to arbitration and no strike per the just updates article.

And from reading my impression is that WestJet was playing the public a bit by cancelling shit early.
