Roku is 6, I think 7 is nana

postnataldrip@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Yeah, nana or shichi depending on context

HogsTooth@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 2y (1 reply)

I'm still not sure what that context is. I'm a year into Duolingo and they haven't spelled that out for me in a way I understand yet.

it's Roku right?

No, it's nana. Roku is 6.

Ichi, ni, san, yon, go, roku, nana, hachi, ku, ju.

madmaurice@discuss.tchncs.de · 3 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Might be shichi

Kolanaki@yiffit.net · 3 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Is that just for time and money or what? I've just been on Duolingo for about a month and some of the grammar rules have not been explained at all. Just that sometimes certain things are said a completely different way. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Helps differentiate between other numbers that sound similar, like how four is both shi and yon
