You forgot to put it in the blender first

Klear@lemmy.world · 190 pts · 3y (10 replies)

Now what?

If gold were a thing here, I would give it to you

Instead of Reddit Gold, may I offer you Lemmy Cold 🧊 ?

Klear@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

That's actually helpful in this damn heatwave. Except... I think the PC I'm reading this one probably warmed the room a tiny bit in order to render the ice cube...

Technological_Burger@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 3y

Paste a 3D spoon onto it. Makes it easier to eat lol

This response is funnier than the original post :'D

They said first

BroBot9000@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

Enable node wrangler!

frostphunk@lemmy.world · 42 pts · 3y (22 replies)

It’d be kinda sick if they actually worked that way

BroBot9000@lemmy.world · 58 pts · 3y (21 replies)

Guess you haven’t heard of Weetabix before. Not quite the same but close enough.

MostlyBirds@lemmy.world · 26 pts · 3y (8 replies)

That looks entirely inedible.

alamani@lemmy.fmhy.ml · 9 pts · 3y (3 replies)

They soften from absorbing milk and people generally add sugar or other sweeteners. Still not the peak of breakfast cuisine, though.

PissinSelfNdriveway@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 3y (1 reply)

Sounds a whole lot like diy cereal.

hemmes@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 3y

Well I’m always looking for something to slow me down while I’m getting ready for work, I’ll give it a shot!

xodiak@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

Sugar is a must

wholeofthemoon@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

Not after you smother it in Vegemite

TWeaK@lemm.ee · 2 pts · 3y (1 reply)

In that state it is. Moreso than most cereal, you're supposed to let it soak in a little first.

Dohnakun@lemmy.fmhy.ml · 3 pts · 3y

But then they are even more mush than regular cereal.

Matcraftou@lemmy.world · -2 pts · 3y

They pretty much aren't, disgustang

FunkyMonk@kbin.social · 11 pts · 3y (7 replies)

I think i loved the heaps of sugar I got to add myself more than the large biscut now that it's been a while.

lemmy@lemmy.stonansh.org · 4 pts · 3y (6 replies)

I remember those days. So much sugar :)

TWeaK@lemm.ee · 4 pts · 3y (5 replies)

These days my kids just skip the middle man and pour sugar straight into their mouths. At one point I was frequently confiscating sachets of sugar they'd nabbed while I wasn't looking.

jiji@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y (3 replies)

In the US we’d basically been doing this for decades as kids, sanctioned by the candy makers through pixy stix (which apparently wasn’t even real sugar but maltodextrin).

PissinSelfNdriveway@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 3y (2 replies)

I completely forgot pixy stix existed. Now I kinda want one.

NielsBohron@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 3y

I had one out of my kids' Halloween candy a few months ago. Trust me, no you don't.

Some things are better left as memories.

TimeSquirrel@kbin.social · 3 pts · 3y

Caught mine sucking down liquid coffee creamer. Fuckin' kids.

hutchmcnugget@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 3y (1 reply)

Also the original shredded wheat

Edit maybe those are the same thing

LemmyFeed@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3y

Yeah the giant shredded wheat lol. Looks so strange when you're used to mini wheats

somethingsnappy@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y

Ah, like nature valley bars, turns to dust when you touch it.

meatMech@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 3y

Immediately thought of this - I guess this person is British or from another region where Weetabix is a normal thing
