While these symptoms are common in various everyday illnesses such as colds, flu, and gastrointestinal infections, their simultaneous appearance in such a significant number of people raised concerns and prompted thorough investigation.

As the situation unfolded, the residents of the village of Al-aleikat, particularly in Nag Sanad, reported the persistence of the strange disease for up to 7 days. Symptoms such as high temperatures, broken bones, vomiting, dizziness, and headaches have left the community grappling with uncertainty and fear.

Can anyone with medical expertise explain how this might be possible?

I can't access that link (404 error) but I wonder if it might be a translation error, sometimes Dengue is known as "break bone fever", not because you actually break bones but it feels as if you do (muscle/joint/bone pain). Those symptoms sound pretty similar to Dengue (or Chikungunya) to me anyway.
