This wiremin thing looks kinda sus. I haven't looked that deep but in a few minutes of browsing their website I haven't figured out who actually rund the nodes, they just say "it's like Bitcoin".
You still need people to run the nodes, can't have a network without any connected computers. Bitcoin and Monero are decentralized because people run nodes at home. I have not seen a way to run your own wiremin node.

It says decentralized, so I don't think there is a node runs a specific server or instance like Lemmy
