It’s 100% mental illness, loneliness and lack of treatment options. It doesn’t mean we should feel sorry for the perpetrator, but everyone’s a victim here. It’s just a horrid situation all around.

After 14 years of Tory cuts I doubt the attacker could've accessed treatment even if he wanted to.
