Damn. You knew it was coming. From progressive policy stances to no longer supporting single payer healthcare and more.

The health care plan she rolled out that July stopped short of completely eliminating private insurance. Instead, it would have shifted the US to a government-backed health insurance system by transitioning to a Medicare-for-All-type system over 10 years and continuing to allow private insurance companies to offer Medicare plans.

What they actually said, which is a reasonable path forward

Sounds like two steps forward and two steps back.

Getting downvoted because I don't think that taking a decade to implement a half-measure sounds like progress. XD

The problem being that implementing a half measure over a decade would still require the Republicans to agree with Democrats, so this idea is exactly as difficult to achieve as nationalizing the healthcare industry entirely.

If Democrats are going to have to wait for the next time they own all three branches of government to do anything, then the least they could do is not pull another Romneycare.

How dare she operate within the confines of the democratic system as best she can to slowly make progress towards her goals instead of challenging each republican in congress to a Fight to the Death in order to usurp their positions and pass the idealized bill herself!

You're joking, but I would absolutely vote for a politician that's willing to throw hands in Congress to save people from the American healthcare system.

this bot is annoying as hell and MBFC is an unserious, biased site. We don't need a ministry of truth here
