There is (admittedly anecdotal) evidence that it doesn't, based upon the path travelled by the "loogie" that hit the Mets baseball player whose name I can't remember.
I saw this posted in another thread where they were also saying Jerry's bedroom (which I always thought was to the right of the bathroom) is supposedly to the left? Can anyone corroborate?

Yeah, it's to the left. They don't go back there very often, but I remember it to the left.
