If his first attempt would have gone through, my partner and I would have had $40k in debt forgiven. Under the new plan, it will likely be $0. Ugh...

I was really hoping the second forgiveness plan would automatically include those that were approved for the first plan :/

It was never meant to happen, that’s the game the DNC plays.
Make promises of actually taking steps towards becoming a developed nation, pretend the mean Republicans stopped you from doing it (despite multiple legal mechanisms existing to punch the republicans into fucking off and doing it anyway), and give out a few breadcrumbs so you still vote for them.
Weird how it’s happened every single time we try to get things other developed nations have enjoyed for 80 years.
