It might become much harder to speed without getting a ticket in the future.

Eh, they patent everything they can think of these days.

Doesn't mean they're gonna use it, they just want paid if anyone else wants to use it.

When is Chrysler going to detect and report drunk drivers?

Anticorp@lemmy.world · 17 pts · 2y

How about we don't encourage corporations to spy on us and treat us like criminals? How about we don't root for a fuckin dystopian surveillance State? That would be great. Sheesh

gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 2y

Right after they figure out how to detect and report the drunk engineers that design their shit suspension and transmissions

Fuck this. I guess I'm never buying a Ford. That's a shame too, because the Mustang looks fun.

I_Has_A_Hat@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 2y

Ah yes Ford, the car company that for the last 2 decades has consistently made the shittiest, least reliable vehicles on the road. Well I certainly won't be buying from them NOW 🙄

Surveillance State totalitarianism blah blah blah I know:

You're wielding a deadly weapon with the kinetic energy of a small bomb in a public space. You should be forced to obey the rules by any means necessary. Fuck your freedom: speeding endangers everyone!

Negative votes for essentially just saying people should drive safely and have that be enforced with technology. Gotta love it

Libertarians and Anarchists I assume. An unholy alliance.

Governments exist to enforce rules.

Speed limits are the closest thing to a universally good rule you can imagine but "Big gubbmint bad" means that people gut react to it and throw a fit.

I kinda expected it but felt it needed saying: fuck speeders.
