Beginners guides

Hi all. Does anyone in the community have a good beginners guide? I'd like to learn how to do this and don't have a great resource.

The best free resource IMO is the National Center for Home Food Preservation. I'd start wth the "How Do I..." subsection that interests you.

The Ball Blue Book of Canning and preserving is pretty good.

The gold standard, honestly. Id say anything by Ball is a good starting point for beginners.

I'd contact that local ag extension in your area. They often offer free beginners classes online or in person.
