I farted an SBD once at a party, everyone thought it was my overweight female friend, and I just went with it.

I didn't laugh or accuse, I just kinda nodded my head agreeing it was her.

Not cool, but also correct etiquette for nasty farts at a party is to pretend not to notice (or to go round sniffing arses depending on the type of party) you were all being super rude.
