Deng's were not even drastic as Gorbachev's, remember that.

Pol Pot attacked Vietnam in 1978 and Vietnam overthrew him as a response. He had already been killing ethnic Vietnamese in Cambodia since 1977.

That guy is our token Jucheist. He's wacky, but fun to talk to.

Absolutely ridiculous, I would leave that server if they’re not being dunked on

Unfortunately yeah, our mod team is very pro-Maoist at the moment, and are very welcoming to "all." We've got nice people there, but it isn't really a place to discuss socialism anymore.

They are being dunked on in RTD

However, one member of RTD accidentally posted patsoc content

Give me a comparison between Deng, Le, and Gorby's economic reforms.

I know basically nothing about what that person is saying and therefore have no right to speak about it

In the world, socialism is facing critical challenges to its economic, scientific and technical development. It needs to re-perceive itself to change policies accordingly. The cause of perestroika and reform in the socialist countries, though bringing about initial achievements, has not yet created drastic changes. A number of fresh issues emerging during the process should be carefully considered.

-Nguyen Phu Trong

JereSuomi brought this up, thoughts?

"The cause of perestroika and reform in the socialist countries, though bringing about initial achievements," kinda seems sus even to me

besbin@lemmygrad.ml · 4 pts · 3y

sounds really sus to me. If you can find the original source in Vietnamese, let me know. I really want to try learning more about my own country communist party.
