So, I heard we are posting pictures of our(ule) Linux machines on boot?

I'm a Homelab tinkerer. This is the closest to a 'desktop' I get from my Linux server. Well, this or Portainer.

I would take part but I don't want to sit through the 10 minute boot time

What have you done to that poor, poor, linux install

It's decade old server hardware with dual CPUs and nearly 200GB of RAM

After the heartbleed patch boot times went up pretty hard

Ehh just turn the patch off then, who really needs em

Eh its maybe a minute. It all depends on hardware.

They didn't say that was YOUR boot time lol

Fair point lol. It doesn't really matter to me though since it's almost never booting, it's always on (as you'd expect from a server).

Sure, but your post says "on boot". Not "pictures of our Linux machines after running for a year"
