Aqara G3 IR: can you control the IR devices via the home app or just the Aqara app?

If I add an IR device (fan, tv etc) via the G3 hub, does that device bridge over to the home app?

I have not found a way to remotely control IR devices yet from the home app.

I’m hoping it’s a software limitation and not a hardware one so we can have it in the future. I found out there is a Japanese device that does exactly this and I’m hoping aqara brings that functionality
