I love i3wm and would like to switch to sway for the advantages of not using xorg. But is it worth it with a laptop that has an old nividia/intel hybrid video card? I had read that it was complicated to use nvidia cards with wayland

I have several laptops that all have nvidia/intel cards (it's hard to avoid them). They all work perfectly with sway using the nouveau drivers. I haven't tried the proprietary drivers as I have no use for gaming, just firefox, emacs, mythtv and mpv movies.
