Lather: House of Mammoth - You & I (Will Die) - Soap
Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Varen - Aftershave

Fragrance: Stirling Soap Co. - Varen - EdT
I didn't notice it when the tub was new, but after using it yesterday I started to notice the same sort of volatile hit that I get when I take the lid off of Mood Indigo. I don't think it's a base funk, because I don't get it with Tobacconist or Santa Noir, so maybe it's the same accord used in both scents. It's honestly not that pleasant of a smell, but it dissipates pretty quickly, allowing the rest of the scent through. And what a great scent U&I(WD) is.
Given our recent discussions and the agreed-upon approximation we could get away from the angle discussion and use to the thickness/width ratio going forward. No irrational numbers involved here, just a caliper and rule
Exactly! I'm going to try to explain this in an upcoming video, but, so far, my explanations using simple geometry and trig, haven't been well received.
Post: Ginger's Garden - Unscented Aftershave Balm with Menthol
Frag: Chiseled Face - Summer Storm EdP
Just a beautiful shave this morning. Summer Storm always brings me back to being in the desert during a thunderstorm. Makes me miss living in New Mexico.
This balm and artisan is new to me and was one of the prizes I won in the children's cancer raffle. Nice menthol level, good ingredients, and left my skin feeling great!
Have a great one y'all, we made it to the weekend! ✌️
I totally mistyped there -- I meant to say that this balm and artisan are new to me. Meaning Ginger's Garden. I'm not sure whether CF was part of the prize list.
I agree though, Chiseled Face is one of my favorites. I get a great lather with their base every time.

Friday, October 18, 2024: Ash on Friday
An Omega of death has formed in my soap. I'm not that confident anymore that I will finish this soap in 2024, but the end is close.
Have a good day!

Eh, this one wasn't it. I just refreshed that edge, but it pulled ATG. Back on the to-hone pile it goes.
I remember I've had trouble this razor before. Something about it makes it difficult for me to get a smooth sharp edge.

Swedish steel tends to be harder. I’d be interested to know what the sharpening/bevel angle is on that razor :)

I'll get the calipers.

It made sense to me when you explained it, and I have a public school education!

Thank you! When it comes to learning, it is all about the individual. There are morons who graduate from private schools.

I didn't even notice Chiseled Face in the prize list. I really like Chiseled Face. Some people say the soap base isn't good, but I think it's great.
