It’s sub-par though

Skymt@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

People say this like it's a bad thing...

Kind regards

Confused golfer.

Submarines re-invented by NCD

Sundial@lemm.ee · 29 pts · 1y

Bro just discovered submarines...

I'm thinking the problem might be with the pre-drowned crew 🤔

M137@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 1y

I think the pre-drowned crew in Pirates of the Caribbean did pretty well, and it's cool so I think we should go for it!

xia@lemmy.sdf.org · 3 pts · 1y (2 replies)

I guess we need to make them air-tight, then.

nuke@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Well that was terrible advice. I made the entire crew air-tight and the lazy bastards haven't moved since.

Happily bobbing on the surface 😊

Simple, simple children. Pull up a chair. You don’t sink the ships underwater, you sink them on land! Just like the genius strategist Zakalwe , and he fought in the hell wars!

I think Russia is trying something like that

TriflingToad@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 1y

sumbermeme 👍

That's a Zëven Provincien Class frigate right? Looks similar to the Sachsen-class with the Smart-L on the aft tower and the bridge design, but has that gap between VLS and bridge (except for that I'd have said Sachsen-class)

Edit: just noticed the radar one the first tower and the funnel being seperated, is this a British destroyer, Type 13 something?

0laura@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 5 pts · 1y

literally the script of tenet

DaddleDew@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 1y

Daring class destroyer. For the two people on the whole internet who were wondering.

Ilovethebomb@lemm.ee · 5 pts · 1y (2 replies)

What's funny about this is you absolutely can sink a submarine, if anything it's easier to do than a surface vessel.

jubilationtcornpone@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Apparently not if you're actually trying to sink it yourself. Thats a one way ticket to getting your sub captured and placed in a large museum where people can witness your failure for generations to come.

Just ask the Germans.

Ilovethebomb@lemm.ee · 2 pts · 1y

On the other hand, the Russians lost one because the captain didn't know how the toilet worked.

BmeBenji@lemm.ee · 5 pts · 1y

Boats get covered with water when hit by missiles, therefore we need to get rid of all the water to handle that exception

Fizz@lemmy.nz · 4 pts · 1y

Bad idea, this would just save the enemy missles.
