Local politics doesn't need this dirt slinging. State your position, how you'll approach it and move on.

This feels like one of those "first time?" meme situations. Our local elections have been this way as long as I can remember, and there's always people complaining about it.

Not that you're wrong, this style of comms is immature and gross, but ad hominem attacks against the candidate "sucks", "privileged dick" are a hypocritical way to make your point that we should be focusing on the issues.
