Looking to get some merino shirts for traveling but all of them seem quite pricey. Not opposed to that if it's worth it (and made ethically, like I think...unbound? in Australia?) but seeing what everyone's preferences are.

Decathlon's Forclaz Hiking T-shirt Travel 100 has been a pleasant surprise for 35 CAD. 70% wool and 30% acrylic. We'll see how durable it will be.

Definitely should clarify- male. I would say probably any style- crew, v-neck, button down, henley, etc.
