As someone who works in aviation regulations, this just means they have updated the regulations - they have not greenlit any operators or any actual vehicle designs - that is still many years away given that manufacturers and operators would still need to seek approval to actually operate - that’s all still undecided - it’s just the framework is now there where it was not before.
-Walking for short trips
-Trams for longer trips
-Electric/hydrogen cars for beyond city/transporting heavier stuff.
-Train for anything further
Isn't this all you would ever need?
