Brouter isn't an alternative to Google Maps.
In its niche (bicycle routing) it blows Google Maps out of the fucking water.
Same for Organic Maps. If you live in an area with good map data, it's just better.
The only thing it lacks is traffic prediction, which is simply impossible to supply without spying on people.

+1 for Organic maps. I make most of my edits on openstreetmaps.org with Organic Maps in mind so that they look and display properly there but I mostly contribute around the Philippines.
