Indeed strange to change that mid season.

Not strange whne you noticed it happened just before the great push event. They knew it would reach degenerate levels of cheese and stopped before it could make it into the stream

I'm not running 27s so this doesn't affect me but I completely agree with this comment:

They should remove the crap altogether, this was already stupid in Necrotic Wake. Imagine going into a dungeon to play with op toys instead of your actual class.

Bonus actions are kind of fun the first couple of times but overall it's my least favorite "feature" in a dungeon
