That isn’t what gaslighting means. The term refers to a type of psychological abuse involving the denial of a person’s own reality as a means of gaining power and control of a victim. It is not simply suggestion.
Sort of fits. The person self gaslighting is both the manipulator and victim. The person is trying to gain control over themselves and is denying reality.
