He didn’t get away with anything. He was indirectly pardoned by half of the US voters.

Because the Supreme Court was wholly captured by fascists. He should not be able to assume office given his insurrection.

Yeah I personally believe in democracy having the power to change every law and conviction. As long as there's a reasonable and fair process, it's the source of justification for the government and laws.
