How is the plastic holding up? I have the older version of that faceplate and it is so much softer than the original.

It’s holding up perfectly :) had zero issue with it

Ipods or the pieces?

The iPod. Most I've seen on resale online have been crazy marked up.

I found mine on goodwill’s two resale sites. They have some deals better than eBay but I had to be patient. Maybe ended up at around 30 an ipod.
