[Schefter] Bears and TE Cole Kmet reached agreement on a four-year, $50 million extension, including $32.8 million guaranteed and $20 million in new first-year cash.

Tied for 8th highest TE, which is a little rich now but should look like a bargain in the future if his play continues and salary cap keeps increasing rapidly. Plus the cap hit comes early so we save room later on when we need it. Seems like a win/win to me.
