Shoot. Not even close. How do you like the KLR? I was thinking about trading my Honda in for one.

It's great for everyday stuff in the city, it's been verrrrrry reliable and easy to work on. Parts are very cheap too.

My main complaints are:

  • it's only a 5 speed and I always try to shift into 6th
  • fairly heavy, especially if you're on dirt
  • would prefer FI over carbed

And this is what got me about the new KLR650. FI is cool. But it’s over 200kg! I just don’t want to handle a big that heavy any more.
