I just joined this community, but I've never lived there. My daughter moved there for a PhD program last year, so I joined the Reddit sub a little before then. I found the discussions there really useful for picking an area for her, finding good restaurants, and keeping up with what's going on.
In fact, one of the things I was sad about when I left Reddit in mid June was losing that sub, so I'm happy to see the community here, and I hope it grows.
Community info says 4 users in the last week, 9 in the last month 😬
I'm regularly posting random stuff just to keep the community active, because nothing stops a community from growing like new people showing up and seeing no new posts on the last 2 months. So feel free to post any questions or comments you can think of just to keep the community active.
