I'm so happy with the fact we signed Trossard. He's a magnificent baller and the perfect addition to our squad. Him versus Martinelli will be a beautiful thing to watch all season as they battle for starts.
I wonder if he might be a surprise exit late in the window if we get all the targets we want. He seems like such a passenger most games. Especially as the backup to Odegaard which is vital.
All in all, not a bad match. We clearly have some issues to work through still, and Ramsdale making another poor decision, but too many positives to worry that much.
We're still a significant distance away from our best. There are a lot of kinks to iron out before the Community Shield. The new players need to click before then. Last season was rare because Jesus and Zinchenko gelled with the team quite quickly.
