"Trusted names in CBD gummies and pet insurance" e.g. Forbes, apparently.

The "site reputation abuse" Google is targeting takes many forms, but it has one common theme: using an established site's domain history to quietly sell things.

Many people in the SEO industry have really been calling Google out publicly for this pretty hard and consistently for many months now. Glad they finally listened.

If they've been calling this out for months, they've missed years.

They have been calling Google out on all sorts of shit for years, to be honest. However, I understand your point.

"Leads to a bad search experience for users" is Google speak for "they are seeing ads served by other companies than Google"

Ooh, just right after I filtered all those sites out in my alternative search engine. Sorry Google, almost had me!
