The boomerang is awesome. The DPS doesn't feel great, but the homing is hilarious. I got lucky and managed to kill a duo with a single throw.

Lateral movement is enough to break the lock, and the DPS feels low, but yeah, the homing is pretty effective.

I find it spawns more often in the forest biome, but maybe that's just luck.
