Fightcade has a ton of people playing right now. You can set it up on your PC as well as a ton of other retro FGs.
If you have a 360 or PS3, check out the Online Edition for extra content like trials and such. Not sure if people still play that version, but it's a really solid port with a ton of features.

So....Ken and Ryu are the only constants? That's wild! Almost had Akuma but he wasn't on the lineup for SF6.

Yeah, pretty wild. Akuma will be coming to SF6 later this year via DLC at least.
Chun Li is probably the next closest to being a constant as well. Akuma wasn't in all the versions of SF2.

I usually play SF Anniversary Collection on Steam. I'm still able to find some online matches there.
