When talking about strategy RPGs, most people point to Final Fantasy Tactics, and rightfully so.
But my personal love affair with the genre started with this little game: Vandal Hearts.
Pretty straight forward and nowhere near as crazy as Disgaea would end up being about a decade later, this one was so addictive that I couldn't stop playing it until I finished it.
if you've never played this one and enjoy the genre, do yourself a favour and give it a chance.

The second part is probably more interesting in terms of story, but the gameplay was a bit ridicolous...
