I literally cannot read TLS(OUT) without hearing this wonderful abomination in my mind.

In this demonstration a client connects to a server, negotiates a TLS 1.3 session, sends "ping", receives "pong", and then terminates the session

That seems like a lot of steps. Image how efficient things could be with no bad actors on the internet.
