Isn't this from the video where some lawmaker or something was like "These guns shouldn't exist so I'm gonna destroy mine" but they actually just made an illegal SBR?

There is short, then there is 6" of barrel where 50% of the powder only burns after it exits the barrel. Shooting that indoors would be like getting flashbanged.

This is why I love bullpup. The best of both worlds.

Except there is a good reason no great military force has ever adopted and stayed with a bullpup

Ah, I love to see the "No True Scotsman" fallacy in the wild.

CQB BBQ

I like my BBQ hot, loud, and full of powder burns!

They’re cutting through the gas tube which will render the gun unable to automatically cycle.

Turn your semi auto AR-15 into a semi AR-15 with this one weird trick

I think this is just a bolt action now isn't it?

Sylvartas@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

Yeah pretty much, I think. Though technically bolt action means the lever is directly operating the bolt IIRC, I'm not sure that's what the AR 15 charging handle is doing

Too complicated, just give me a hammer and bullets, I'll make it work.
