It is already there, and I have been using it from my day 1:

Settings / Account / Feed settings / Default feed type: Subscriptions

I am an idiot, thank you for that lmao

Here's a direct link to that setting. :-)

Thunder Setting: Account > Feed > Default Feed Type

Is there a way for a user like me to generate a helpful direct link like that?

micahmo@programming.dev · 1 pts · 1y (2 replies)

Yes! Long-press a setting, and the link (in markdown format) will be copied to your clipboard. :)

(in markdown format)

Thunder Setting: General > Default Feed Type and Sorting > Default Feed Type

Already formatted to be posted here? Clever and useful!

Glad you like it! :) I have to admit I stole the idea from Sync, which has had that feature going back to the Reddit days.

When I open the app, the top-left hamburger icon lets me select my feed, which can be: Subscriptions, Local Posts, or All Posts. I have mine set to subscriptions, and I only see the communities I'm subscribed to. This setting persists in the app every time I open it.
