Not a regular thing for me. Just that it happened this morning. Right as I stepped into the kitchen to cook something, power goes out. It just came back on while writing this response, so I'm gonna make some food now.
Where i live it’s a regular thing. I’d say once every few months we lose power for a few minutes to a few hours time. Usually it’s just transformer blowing so they get it fixed quick.

Is that a regular thing?
Power last went out for 20 minutes in 2007 around here and people are still talking about it.

Depends on location in the US: hurricanes, blizzards, wild fires, Texas, etc
I would say I lose power every couple of years for a short amount of time because of heavy snow.
These issues could be mitigated if we built more underground lines.
