Rum, banana, spices, lime, Honey Nut Cheerios milk wash. At a bar in Santa Cruz called Ulterior. Generally I shy away from these places because they offer crazy fancy drinks that don’t deliver and cost way too much. Everything I’ve had here is good so far.

It’s crazy good. The daiquiri is definitely there but it’s muted. The up front taste is a rum cocktail with Honey Nut Cheerios flavored clarified milk.

I assume they do like a milk punch treatment. The acid is actually necessary to form curds that filter the cocktail and make it clear with a great texture.
