Festival foods: what do you recommend?

It’s summer festival time. Just ate yakisoba at my local festival. It’s ¥400 but the noodles always seems thicker than what the supermarket sells. What gives?

Anyway, what are your go to festival foods?

Not a fan of the sweet stuff, but you nailed it with the yakisoba and takoyaki. Them and beer are where it’s at.

Or a chu-hi (non strong zero lol)

I normally eat before or after I go. In my experience most of the festival food I've eaten has been overpriced (relative to size) and subpar in quality.

Yeah that’s true. But for me it’s part of the fun so I tend to pick up one or two things. Off to another local festival tonight. I’ll see what they have!

As a vegan, festival foods are often a disappointment 😮‍💨
