I'm sorta inclined to agree with them in a way. Keep emojis in your instant messages and out of your posts and comments. It's just easier to read that way.
I'll still message my wife "ππππππ" when the kids do something funny, I just grew up using emoticons mostly on MSN, but not forums, which to me are sort of a public archive

That's clearly the old yeti switcharoo. The figure falling down the cliff is not the real yeti. The yeti was totally in on this scam.

not doing it for a trend I genuinely hate emojis and I want people who use them to know that I hate it, even though they don't (and shouldn't) care.
