It's wild how big of an influence Latin has had on the English vocabulary. I can guess what "hic sunt leones" means, and many of the other names, like "rotten fish," are perfectly intelligible even though I don't speak Latin. What a beautiful world we live in!

Love how the polish get titles like "Keep the FUCKING land" or "BADASS WOMEN" ,but we got "amber beach".
