Court rejects Starbucks’ challenge to US labor board, ruling it illegally fired baristas

I was wondering how much the back pay would be and if they also have to pay any kind of damages. All I see is:

… rejected Starbucks’ claim it need not rehire the baristas with back pay…

Is that enough to deter this behaviour in the future? Would those baristas actually benefit from returning to work in such a hostile environment?
