Upper crust in whangarei (across the road from the warehouse) some of the best pies I've ever had

I haven't had a good pie for a long time. Are there any supermarket pies worth getting these days? I can't be bothered going out of my way for a pie

I don't know if they'll get nominated or not but Shane-Os in Hastings are Supreme in my Friday Pieday heart.

Not up to pie award standards, but I made myself some steak and kidney pies on the weekend. Finally got the pastry so that I can pick it up and eat it properly. Quite happy about that.
