Yup, despite my best efforts we are approaching August with great speed. A few more months and we'll be driving straight into the Christmas period and there's not much any of us can do to stop it...
Anyway. It's 6am. I got woken up by a car horn in the pub carpark behind me, at 4am; on one of the only two days a week where I don't have to get up at 4:30am for work...so I'm feeling pretty great right now.
How are you? Any plans for what remains of the weekend?

The Mrs. and I have a kid free lunch date planned. We just had our 2nd kiddo less than two months ago, so we’re looking forward to a few beers and some chill time.
Sorry about your luck sleeping in, hopefully you get a nap at some point today.

Toddler has just gone done for a nap, so I've done the sensible thing
and curled up on the sofa an napped for an hourplayed a video game and ate ice cream. Won't regret that at 4pm. No sir.
