A couple of days ago I noticed that the game was seemingly out of stock everywhere I looked.
Then I noticed that the local MediaMarkt still had copies, so I decided I'd better grab one before they start shooting up in price and I'm not sure if this will get a reprint or not.

@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games The PS5 version at least is getting a reprint soon because the earlier print had a game breaking bug in it. I think that means they'll also be reprinting Switch copies too

Ah, I see.
Didn't know about a game breaking bug, but the PS5 version, at least in Europe, not sure about the US, seemed to have shipped as just the base game, without the expansion.

@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games Ah, I actually remembered incorrectly. It was the Archaeologist Edition that only had the base game on the disc, which did release in EU as well. The reprint will have all of the DLC on disc

Ah, I didn't know that the game didn't even include the DLC as a code.
It was just missing completely...
Checked the Switch version, and despite needing a patch as I put the cart in, I booted it up and it does have the expansion included, so all if well on that end. 😊

@OutofPrintArchive@mstdn.games The issue was only with the PS5 disc version. I've been anticipating the reprint myself to finally play the game because I just prefer all of the content on the disc if possible. Game of the Year editions, deluxe editions, etc. that don't need downloads. The Switch version was definitely tempting though as it was complete and issue free. Hope you enjoy it!

Heard nothing but great things about it and also that it's one of those games where it's best to go in completely blind, so besides just the basic time mechanic, I don't know anything more.

That's what I'm planning on doing. 😄
SO much more fun to try and get everything out of a game by yourself instead of going "ah, this is the point where that is going to happen" the first time you play it.
Basically a back to the old times mentality and I'm having a lot more fun this way.
